RE/MAX National Housing Report March 2021
March home sales jumped by one-third over February’s total as demand from hordes of eager homebuyers pushed the Median Sales Price above $300,000 for the first time in the 13-year history of the report.
It’s been a wild 12 months, and the housing market has been along for the ride! Sales are up, prices are too, and days on market are slowly creeping downward. Here are some highlights from last month’s housing report.
- Overall number of transactions (from 53 metro areas surveyed) is up 15% from last year
- Median sales price from those same areas has risen to $303,000
- Average days on market is down to 38 (that’s a 16 day decrease from this time last year)
